New Chapters
ABATE of South Dakota welcomes submissions of application for new chapters to organize and join us in our fight for protecting motorcyclist rights and freedoms!
The following requirements must be fulfilled when considering a new chapter to ABATE of South Dakota:
- ♦The prospective chapter must have an officer attend a Board of Directors meeting to request association.
- ♦The prospective chapter must provide a by-laws document for approval by the Board of Directors.
- ♦The prospective chapter must provide a list of officers and contact information.
- ♦The prospective chapter must pay the associate chapter fees upon making the association request.
- ♦The prospective chapter must send a representative to each Board of Directors meeting for the duration of the probationary period, unless excused by either the Coordinator or Vice Coordinator. All chapters are expected to have representation regularly attend the Board of Directors meetings.
- ♦The prospective chapter must be able to fulfill the chapter requirements as defined in the ABATE of South Dakota by-laws and policies & procedures manual.
